SwimShow June 2025 - The Recap

SwimShow took over the Miami Beach Convention Center from May 31 to June 2, bringing together the best in swimwear, resort wear, accessories, skincare, and footwear. The energy was high as buyers explored the latest trends and connected with both established and emerging brands.

This year's SwimShow not only showcased brands but also highlighted our panelists at SwimTalks, bringing insightful information about the future of fashion and providing us with a new point of view.

Meanwhile, SwimLab made its mark for the fourth consecutive year, showcasing four standout brands: Lola Baia, Milo, Maia, and Palmeri. Here’s what we got up to over the 3-day long June show…


SwimTalks

Our panelists took the SwimTalks stage on Saturday and Sunday, sparking engaging conversations around fashion, AI, and the future of the industry. Here, we highlight some of our panelists and the key topics they discussed. Procolombia held a panel discussing the innovations in sustainability and the future of Colombian brands and the economic impact they carry for the Latin American country, with panelists Sebastián Díez, Executive President at Inexmoda, Carolina Diazgranados, Manager at Mar De Lua, and Daniel Valencia, Head of Business Development at Ola Azul - moderated by Catalina Sánchez, Communications Advisor at Procolombia.

The Future of Retail Starts Upstream- AI, Strategy and Smarter Selling

Panelists Tim Braxter, Julie Evans, and Tatiana Ferreira provided valuable insights into utilizing data, the future of AI, and more. Tim Braxter touched on the most important things businesses need to focus on, stating, “How will it make their business more efficient, is their a more efficient way to do their business and how can AI help from that perspective, they need to be thinking about from a retail perpsective how AI will drive trend and fashion in the future…” The discussion highlighted the practical ways AI can enhance efficiency and emphasized the importance of utilizing data strategically to drive meaningful business outcomes.

Spring/Summer 2026/2027 Print and Styling Trends
Hosted by Longina Phillips Designs, the duo took the stage to unveil five standout design trends projected to shape Spring/Summer 2026/2027 collections. The presentation highlighted: Hyper Feminine – Soft pastels and romantic florals take center stage. Nu Bohemian – A polished twist on boho style featuring rich chocolate and cool aqua tones. Raw Earth – A nature-inspired look with earthy tones and minimal, elegant embellishments. Organic Forms – Focused on scale and shape, this trend brings monochromatic palettes and standout prints like "Max Tile" and "Move It." Exotic Destination – Evoking luxurious getaways, with key prints like "70s Cocktail Party," "Glam Jungle," and "Tropical Bright."

FGI South Florida Presents: Designed in Miami Swim & Resort Edition

Harry Miller, Founder of Senja Bali, Magalie Jones, Travel Retail Expert and Fashion Designer, Ema Koja led a compelling discussion on the state of retail in Miami, with a focus on Swim and Resort wear. Magalie Jones emphasized the importance of truly knowing your customer, stating, “Understand your customer, not just demographically but behaviorally…understand who this guest is that is shopping in your store, why are they here, why are they traveling…” The panel offered a fresh perspective on how brands should approach their target market, shifting from surface-level demographics to deeper behavioral insights that drive purchasing decisions.


The 2025 Edition of SwimLab

Lola Baia, Maia, Milo, and Palmeri made their SwimShow debut this past weekend, showcasing their detailed designs and standout pieces. These emerging brands didn’t just turn heads on the show floor they also made a lasting impression on the SwimTalks stage. Each shared the story behind their brand, the journey that brought them to SwimShow, and highlighted some of their favorite pieces. With authentic personalities and strong creative voices, they proved they’re not just new names, they’re here to stay.


Mana Fashion’s Biscayne Showroom

Mana Fashion made a bold debut at SwimShow, unveiling their Biscayne Showroom on the show floor for the very first time. They kicked off the weekend in style by hosting an exclusive VIP Buyers Breakfast, setting the tone for an exciting event.

Showcased brands included: Noblesse Oblige, 04651, ELE Collection, Lina Lemus, Laino, Ania Designs, Sijam Sleiman, and Dur Doux. Mana Fashion just launched the Biscayne Showroom in May 2025 as a dedicated space designed to empower brands through strategic market positioning and increased visibility. By partnering with SwimShow, Mana Fashion expanded on that mission, elevating brand visibility and driving business-to-business opportunities to new heights.
